MERS-LES-BAINS

Mers-les-Bains is a seaside resort closed on the Picardy Coast 30 km from the Somme Bay, opposite Tréport. This unique sea front in France, with its colorful facades and worked, balconies and bay windows, turrets ... was classified protected sector in 1986 and still reflects the charm of the Belle Epoque.

LE TRÉPORT

Located in the north of department 76 and at the edge of the Channel, the town of Tréport has a pebble beach at the foot of the cliffs of chalk and a harbor. Seaside resort, the town has a casino, restaurants and brasseries. With Eu and Mers-les-Bains, it is one of the "three sister cities".

THE EU CASTLE

The current castle in the heart of the city of Eu was begun in 1578 by Henri de Guise and Catherine de Cleves. In the 19th century, it became the summer residence of King Louis-Philippe, who received Queen Victoria twice. Long a royal residence, the castle is now owned by the town of Eu and the estate has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1985. Since 1973, it has been home to the Louis Philippe Museum.

SAINT-QUENTIN-EN-TOURMONT : THE MARQUENTERRE ORNITHOLOGICAL PARK

At the heart of the natural reserve of the Somme, the Marquenterre Ornithological Park is a must, and is an ideal stopover for many migratory birds. This park is organized so that you can observe and admire the unique wildlife.

Le Crotoy – St Valery – Cayeux : RAILWAY OF SOMME BAY

A symbol of our Somme Bay you will discover the different Bay aboard a train from the early twentieth century drawn by valiant steam engines and maintained by enthusiasts.

Argoules : ABBEY AND GARDENS OF VALLOIRES

The abbey was rebuilt in the eighteenth century and the gardens created by Gilles Clément, extend over 8 ha. They bring together a unique collection of 5,000 species and varieties of plants grouped by theme.

RambureS : THE STRONG CASTLE OF RAMBURES

Fortress and feudal jewel of the 15th century, historical monument furnished and classified since 1840 to the military architecture of the late Middle Ages.
